Dear colleagues,
We all love our kitchen. It's where we make coffee, have lunch and chat about the weekend. But recently it has become a bit of a mess, so here are a few friendly rules.
The fridge. Every Friday at four o'clock the fridge will be cleaned, and anything without a name on it will be thrown away. Yes, even that soup from last month. We know it's yours, Paul. Please label your food with your name and the date.
Cups and plates. Please wash your cup after you use it, or put it in the dishwasher. The dishwasher is not magic: it only works if someone turns it on. The last person to leave the office, please press the green button.
The microwave. Fish and eggs may smell great to you, but not to the twenty people around you. Please think twice before you heat them up at lunch.
Coffee. If you finish the coffee, please make some more. It takes two minutes, and the next person will love you for it.
And finally, a big thank you to Helen, who has been doing most of the cleaning for months without a word. Let's make her job a little easier.
