Sam: Hi, Kate! You look happy today. Any plans for Saturday?
Kate: Yes! I'm going to see my parents. They live in a small town in the south. I'm taking the train this evening.
Sam: That sounds great. How long does it take?
Kate: About five hours. But I don't mind. I'm going to read, sleep and watch the fields go by.
Sam: Five hours on a train? I can't sit still for five hours!
Kate: It's different with a good book. And the tickets don't cost much if you buy them early.
Sam: So what are you going to do there?
Kate: Nothing special. My mom wants to cook for everyone. My brother is coming with his wife and kids. And my father is building something in the garden again. He only says: “Wait and see!”
Sam: Sounds like fun. What about the weather?
Kate: It's going to be warm, so we're going to eat in the garden. And you? What are you doing this Saturday?
Sam: I'm going to stay at home with my cat and sleep. On Sunday I'm meeting a friend from school.
Kate: That sounds good too. Sometimes a day at home is just what you need.
Sam: True. Well, have a good time, and say hi to your family from me!
Kate: I will. See you on Monday!
